PROVINCETOWN – Firefighters rushed to the far west end of town after a passerby reported seeing heavy smoke around 8:30 AM Monday morning. Crews found the scene on Creek Hill Road where the pumping system for a swimming pool had apparently malfunctioned and caught fire. The fire was quickly knocked down before it could extend to the main house. No injuries were reported. Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera below to make sure there were no hot spots (below).
