Recent activity in Wareham-two arrests, pedestrian struck

WAREHAMFrom Wareham Police: On Monday January 14, at about 1:15 p.m. Wareham Police responded to a home on Camardo Drive for a disturbance. One of the reports was that a male was threating others with a gun. After investigation no firearm was located, however one male was placed under arrest at the scene by Officers Christopher Smith, Matthew Donovan, and Calib Larue. Ryson Joseph, 30, is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and threats to commit a crime. Mr. Joseph allegedly threatened an individual at the home while armed with a knife. He was taken to police headquarters where he was processed before being taken to Wareham District Court.

On Tuesday shortly before 7:00 p.m. a West Wareham man was struck by a motor vehicle after attempting to cross Cranberry Highway. The man was taken by MedFlight to a trauma center for treatment of his injuries. His condition is unknown and the accident remains under investigation.

Patrick O’Neill

On Wednesday morning at 6:15 a.m., Officers Robert McLain and Ryan Turner arrested Patrick O’Neill, 34, of Fall River on Cranberry Highway. Mr. O’Neill had an active warrant for his arrest and was placed in custody following a motor vehicle stop.
