ORLEANS – Skaket Beach is closed to swimming due to elevated bacterial levels in the water. This can happen for several reasons including storm water runoff, failing septic systems and wildlife waste.
The beach is open to all who wish to enjoy it from the shore! A status update will be issued within 24 hours.
