UPDATED: Snowfall causes multiple crashes across the Cape

CAPE COD – Officials are dealing with a spate of motor vehicle crashes across the Cape Tuesday afternoon as snowfall moved in.

In Falmouth, several crashes including two separate rollovers occurred on Route 28 between Thomas B. Landers Road and Route 151. No injuries were reported.

No injuries were reported in a crash involving a school bus on Crocker Neck Road in Cotuit.

One person was injured in a crash at Mechanic and Tremont Streets in Provincetown.

Another crash was reported in Falmouth on Brick Kiln Road at Trotting Park Road around 4 PM. Three vehicles collided. Rescuers used the Jaws of Life to pop a door on one of the vehicles. Minor injuries were reported.

Barnstable Police investigating a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Stevens Street and Bassett Lane. No serious injuries.

Just before 5:30 PM a car struck a tree in Dennis at Main Street and Goosebay Lane. No injuries were reported.

In Harwich Around 4 PM, a two vehicle crash happened at Route 137 and Long Pond Road. A Honda Pilot and a Honda CR-V collided. Five people were evaluated but declined medical treatment at the scene. Route 137 was shut down by Harwich police until the road was cleared of both vehicles.

Shortly after 5 PM Harwich rescuers responded to Route 6 at the eastbound exit 10 on ramp for a vehicle that went into the woods. The driver was not injured.

About 9 PM a rollover crash was reported on Route 6 eastbound just past exit 4 in Sandwich. The driver was able to get out of the vehicle and was evaluated. State Police are investigating the crash.
