TRURO – A cement mixer was left in a precarious position in Truro Thursday morning. The driver of the Cape Cod Ready Mix truck apparently pulled to the side of High Head Road in Truro to check directions. The cement mixer apparently sank down in the soft shoulder of the road leaving it at a precarious angle. The driver was not injured. Heavy duty tow trucks were called and crews first offloaded the cement into another mixer truck. Crews were then to bring the truck back onto solid ground.
