YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police report that on Monday at 5:50 p.m. Proactive Anti-Crime Unit (PACU) Police Officers Sean Gannon, Sean Geary and Christopher Vanness spotted a green Chevrolet pickup truck driving on West Yarmouth Road with a wanted person known to them in the passenger seat.
The vehicle was stopped and the passenger, Anthony M. Mendoza, 24, of Yarmouth, who is well known to Cape Cod law enforcement and was the recent subject of a recent YPD Wanted Wednesday Community Alert, was placed under arrest and transported to Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters. Mendoza was wanted on three warrants:

Default – Assault and Battery on a Family Member
Barnstable District
Default – Multiple Felony Drug Charges
Barnstable District
Default – Felony Breaking and Entering Nighttime and Larceny
He was due to be arraigned in the Barnstable District Court Tuesday.
