Worker suffers seizure on roof at Brewster construction site

BREWSTER – A construction worker in Brewster was lifted off a roof Thursday after suffering a seizure.

Brewster Fire Chief Robert Moran said they started receiving several 911 calls from a work site on Crocker Lane.

On arrival, crews had to use an aerial ladder and a rescue basket to remove the unidentified man. He was taken to Cape Cod Hospital, but his condition was unknown late Thursday.

“After climbing up the scaffolding on the exterior of the house, we were able to assess the individual and find out that we would need to have our aerial device to remove him,” said Moran.
