YPD and YFD to hold free CPR class in memory of boy who drowned in Dennis

YARMOUTH –  The men and women of the Yarmouth Police and Fire Departments extend their deepest and heartfelt condolences to the family of the young boy who lost his life last Friday afternoon in Dennis and offer our support and commendations to everyone who worked as a team to try to save the 4-year-old’s life.  From the citizens on the beach, to all of the police, fire, and town employees; as well as the nurses and doctors at Cape Cod Hospital, everyone did their very best under extremely difficult and emotional circumstances.

In memory of this young boy, the Yarmouth Fire Department will be offering a free CPR class to anyone who would like to participate at Yarmouth Fire Station 2 in Yarmouth Port (340 Route 6A) on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Except for the $12 fee for the CPR card, the class is free and open to anyone. Call the Yarmouth Fire Department ASAP at 508-398-2212, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., to sign up.

Please take a few hours and learn CPR and offer your support to our first responders, medical professionals and everyone involved who did their best to save a young boy’s life.
