Yarmouth Sergeant retiring after 32 years of service


YARMOUTH
From Yarmouth Police: Proclamation of Thanks for Sgt. John K. Fallon

Whereas, John K. Fallon of W. Yarmouth, Massachusetts is retiring after 32 years of distinguished service with the Yarmouth Police Department;

Whereas, John K. Fallon was the 99th Full Time Yarmouth Police Officer hired, served as a Patrol Officer, Motor Officer, Crisis Negotiator, Detective and Patrol Sergeant;

Whereas, John K. Fallon unselfishly and positively contributed to the youth of the Yarmouth and the children of Yarmouth Police employees by community engagement, coaching and most importantly by playing the Role of Santa Clause;

Whereas, John K. Fallon contributed to the Yarmouth Police Department motto of “Excellence in Policing” by implementing innovative initiatives such as “Safe Ride Home” , Neighborhood Crime Watch”, Videotaping of SANE interviews and others;

Whereas, John K. Fallon conducted many successful investigations of serious crimes and obtained countless confessions that brought closure to many victims of crime;

Whereas, John K. Fallon faced adversity but always found the time to be a wonderful father and mentor to is children Kiera and Jack;

Whereas, John K. Fallon has left his mark with the Yarmouth Police Department with his larger than life personality, friendliness, cleverness and humor.

It is hereby recognized that retired Yarmouth Police Sergeant John K. Fallon will ALWAYS be part of the Yarmouth Police Department Family.

The Yarmouth Police Department thanks you for your service and recognizes how fortunate we have been to along with you.

The Yarmouth Police Department will always assist and afford retired Sgt. John K. Fallon with any needs that will ensure a happy and healthy retirement.
