Stepping off of the path and onto the raised boardwalk on the White Cedar Swamp trail is like wandering out of Cape Cod and into the Shire from the Lord of the Rings. Luscious, green, velvety moss lines the whole swamp, with clear waters and gnarly twisted trees reaching over the pathway.
