If you’re a George Clooney fan, you’re about to become an even bigger one after this story! He recently adopted a dog from an animal rescue in Ohio, but not just any dog…this was a dog that no one else wanted. The poor little pup named Nate, was rescued from a hoarding situation by the LuvFurMutts rescue. Nate was very skinny, obviously under nourished, and had a birth defect that affected his leg and caused him to “walk like a hyena”.
George and his mom were following Nate’s story online, and they both fell in love with sweet little Nate. George decided to get Nate for his parents, and he arranged for the dog to be adopted and delivered to his parents home on Christmas Eve! Clooney’s mom Nina cried when the pup was put in her arms on Christmas Eve, she was instantly in love! The LuvFurMutts rescue commented: “They could have any dog in the world but they chose to adopt a dog who was crippled and could have been with LuvFurMutts for life.”
It gets even better, the Clooney’s not only rescued Nate and gave him a new loving home, George and his wife Amal also made a donation to the rescue that not only covered Nate’s medical care, but was also enough left over to help out other animals in the shelter. Way to go George Clooney! From one animal lover to another, THANK YOU!!
