Its the F-Word time of year

RalphieI am a beach bum. I dont like the cold, and the change of the seasons. However, I have lived in the northeast most of my life, so i am used to the cold, i just dont like it.

The annual parade of happiness that comes with the first day of the F-Word brings everyone glee, me, a bit of sadness.

It means….

Take my beach sticker off the windshield (And dont try to use it for the dump…Epic Fail)

Get to every fried seafood joint on Cape for that “One Last Meal”

Look at the seals in Chatham one more time before they either become the farewell meal for a few Great Whites, or make it to that rock in South Africa

Complain that it takes me 35 min. to go from Hyannis to Mashpee

Take the A/C out of my window and get soaked by the water that has collected, because I dont do it right.

I can go to Market Basket on Sunday morning again

It also means..

Hoodies

Pumpkin Spice

Sauce (YES IT’S SAUCE) on Sundays

Football

Apple Picking

Halloween and the rest of the holidays

OK, maybe is not so bad, I just want it sunny and 75 all year!!

Happy F-Word to you, I guess. I am NOT turning on the heat anytime soon!!
