DIY Frozen Pants

Step 2

2. Pants freeze faster in single digit temperatures like they are having in other parts of the country… Because it was a balmy 29 degrees in my back yard last night, I hung them on the clothesline for a little while to "bring them to temperature."

As the cold weather from the latest POLAR VORTEX creeps across the country, I am seeing one of my favorite trends creep across social media: FROZEN PANTS! I am not making this up! I saw it on the internet, so it has to be true! People are freezing their pants and posing the torso-less hollow legs in front yards and in front of businesses and schools! It’s like the Headless Horseman got carried away and took more than a head from hapless victims! It is both unnerving and hilarious at the same time –which of course meant I was going to give it a try!

I did a little research and reached out to a few of my friends in the frozen states of Minnesota and Wisconsin to get a few pointers before soaking my jeans and hanging my laundry in the front yard. Here is my simple, family friendly step-by-step guide to making your own Frozen Pants display.
