4Cs Play Focuses on Commercial Fishing Industry

WEST BARNSTABLE – A play is being performed at Cape Cod Community College that explores the lives of those in and around the region’s commercial fishing industry.

“Boundless” runs through November 17 in the Studio Theatre of the Tilden Arts Center on the campus of the college.

The play, written by Alison Weller, combines the stories from dozens of individuals involved in the industry with original songs that range from chanties to ballads.

The cast features of blend of 4Cs students, alumni and other community actors.

Remaining performances are Sunday, November 10 at 2 p.m., November 14, 15 and 16 at 7:30 p.m. and November, 17 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $25 for general admission, $20 for seniors and military personnel, and $15 for 4Cs faculty and staff. Students with a valid student ID are eligible for free admission. Reservations are strongly suggested as seating is limited.
