Air Station Cape Cod Coast Guard Crew Assists in Search for Diver

BOSTON – A Coast Guard Crew from Air Station Cape Cod helped in the search for a missing diver whose body was found yesterday off the coast of Nahant.

The captain of a charter boat alerted the Coast Guard around 10 a.m. when a 37-year-old diver did not surface when expected.

The body of the missing man was recovered around noon by Beverly Fire Department divers.

He was brought unresponsive to Seaport Landing Marina in Lynn where he was transferred to awaiting emergency medical personnel.
