CHATHAM – The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) honored Chatham resident Connie Lacaillade with the “Champion for Animals” award.
The award is given every year to a person who goes above and beyond to impact the lives of animals in need.
Other recipients of the award include Eastham resident Katrina Boucher and Massachusetts Senator Mark Montigny.
Connie Lacaillade and her husband Peter funded the purchase of the ARL’s Transport Waggin’, a vehicle that links ARL’s Boston, Brewster, and Dedham shelters as well as serving municipalities and communities throughout the state.
