Cape Cod Association Scholarships Now Available

SOUTH YARMOUTH – Applications are now being accepted for the Cape Cod Association’s (CCA) 2019 scholarship program.

Last year, the organization awarded $440,000 to 297 local students pursuing higher education.

Applicants who were born on and reside on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket are eligible to apply. Academic merit, extracurricular activities and financial need are also considered.

Scholarships are offered to graduating high school seniors and college students for up to four years of an undergraduate program. Applicants may attend two-year and four-year colleges and universities, technical schools, and community colleges anywhere in the United States. The CCA does not fund graduate education.

Past recipients of a CCA scholarship must reapply by midnight on March 15, 2019. New applicants and those who have not previously received a CCA scholarship must apply by midnight on April 1, 2019. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.

The Association, founded in 1851, has helped young people achieve success in higher education for more than 150 years. Over the past decade alone, the organization has distributed more than 3,000 awards, totaling over $4 million. It is a supporting organization of The Cape Cod Foundation.
