BOSTON – Before the new HBO documentary “Heroin: Cape Cod, USA” premieres nationally on December 28th, Governor Charlie Baker and Lt. Governor Karyn Polito will attend a premiere screening of it tomorrow in Boston.
The film follows the lives of eight young addicts on Cape Cod as part of the nationwide issue of opiate abuse.
The Baker administration announced that multiple legislators were invited to attend the screening and follow it up with a discussion on the issue.
Members of the public can attend the event, at 5:30 p.m. inside the Revere Hotel, 200 Stuart Street, Boston.
