HYANNIS – Applications are currently being accepted by the Town of Barnstable for artists interested in participating in the 2019 HyArts Cultural District Artist Shanty Program.
The applications are accepted on a rolling basis until all spots are filled. Those who turn in their applications by Friday, October 26 that were not selected will be reviewed for first round consideration next year.
Artist shanties are located in the Hyannis Cultural District at Bismore Park on Ocean Street, steps away at the Harbor Overlook, and oversees Aselton Park and Hyannis Harbor as well.
The Hyannis HyArts Program began in 2005 in an effort to provide opportunities and exposure for local artists.
