HYANNIS A day of free food and fun will be held for kids Wednesday at Barnstable High School.
Barnstable police are hosting the annual Kids Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attendees can enjoy hot dogs, drinks and ice cream from local vendors while watching demonstrations by participating departments.
The first 600 kids receive a free gift and attendees will have an opportunity to win a free bicycle.
The event kicks off with a parade at 10 a.m.
Barnstable High School is located at 744 West Main Street in Hyannis.
