Blish Point Storm Damage Repair Work Getting Underway

Barnstable Harbor

BARNSTABLE – Work begins Wednesday by Barnstable’s Department of Public Works to repair storm-related erosion damage at Blish Point.

The focus of the work is to replace sand along the dune area northwest of the Millway Beach parking area.

Materials and equipment will be staged in the Blish Point boat ramp parking lot while the work is conducted.

The public will have access to the boat ramp and parking area during the work, but a portion of the lot will be sectioned off.

Operations will run between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The project is expected to be completed by February 1, weather permitting.
