OSTERVILLE – Cape Cod Academy in Osterville will host a free college admissions workshop later this month.
The academy and the University of Pennsylvania will host the event, which will also include a guest from Trinity College Admissions.
The audience will serve as members of the admissions committee for a fictitious university.
Through guided discussions of applications they will gain a better understanding of how admissions work in general, and particularly how it works for universities and colleges that are harder to get into.
The goal of the workshop is to help students learn how to put forward strong applications.
High school students, parents, guardians, counselors, principals and teachers are welcome to attend.
The event is February 27 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Cape Cod Academy at 50 Osterville-West Barnstable Road in Osterville.
Register for the event by email to Emily Allen, the director of College Counseling at Cape Cod Academy, at [email protected].
