Cape Cod Chamber Publishes 2019 Cape Travel Guide

CENTERVILLE – The Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce is actively preparing for the upcoming visitor season, beginning this week with the arrival of the 2019 Cape Cod Travel Guide.

The full‐color magazine is packed with 136 pages of intriguing articles, stunning photography, and an insider’s guide to arts & culture, recreation, beaches, shopping, dining, accommodations and other places to visit on Cape Cod.

The 2019 cover depicts White Crest Beach in Wellfleet. The editorial includes engaging stories entitled Cruising Route 6A, Six Awesome Ocean Adventures, Pampered Getaways on the Cape & Islands and Best Dive Bars, along with an itinerary on the Pilgrims’ 400-year-old journey to the New World.

A Taste of Cape Cod features a look at some of the region’s best craft breweries, wineries and distilleries. A map of the new Massachusetts Whale Trail pinpoints key Cape Cod locales and attractions that embrace our region’s connection to these majestic creatures.

“The Cape Cod Travel Guide is designed to help people imagine themselves vacationing on Cape Cod,” said Wendy Northcross, CEO.

“It’s a compelling tool that gives potential visitors a reason to choose Cape Cod over other vacation destinations.”

The Cape Cod Travel Guide is distributed both domestically and internationally. In addition to being available on newsstands across the nation and in Canada, the magazine is distributed in AAA offices throughout the country, overseas in seven countries, in 280 hotels around Boston, Providence and the South Shore, and in 200 corporate locations in New York City, Connecticut and Boston.

The magazine is also available for travelers at visitor centers throughout Southeastern Massachusetts, at travel trade and consumer shows attended by Cape Cod Chamber staff throughout the year, and by mail to potential visitors.

The companion website to the Cape Cod Travel Guide is the Cape Cod Chamber’s responsive travel website CapeCodChamber.org, which received 1.4+ million unique visits in 2018. In addition to editorial content from the magazine, visitors can also find weekly travel blogs on CapeCodChamber.org.

The Cape Cod Travel Guide is currently available at the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce welcome center at Exit 6 off Route 6, and is also distributed locally via other visitor centers, hotels and attractions. To order a copy online, please visit CapeCodChamber.org.
