Cape Cod Five Providing Shutdown Assistance

ORLEANS – Cape Cod 5 recently announced its support of those affected by the federal government shutdown through a zero percent loan program.

The bank will also donate $30,000 to the Cape Cod Military Support Foundation.

“Cape Cod 5 is committed to doing whatever we can to support those who are out of work and struggling to make ends meet during the government shutdown,” said Dorothy A. Savarese, President and CEO of Cape Cod 5.

“These circumstances remind us of the importance of coming together as a community to provide assistance to local individuals and families in need.”

Half of the $30,000 donated to the Military Support Foundation will immediately go toward the transportation and distribution of food and supplies to local military families and individuals affected by the shutdown.

In addition, the company is collecting donations to go toward those affected by the shutdown, drop off food, toiletries and baby items at any Cape Cod 5.
