PLYMOUTH – Members of the Cape Downwinders will rally Monday afternoon in front of the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station in Plymouth.

The group will gather from noon to 2 p.m. as a team of Nuclear Regulatory Commission inspectors return to conduct a review of reactor operators.

The Downwinders hope to highlight recent violations at the plant and are calling for its immediate shutdown.

The plant’s owner, Entergy, has scheduled a shut down by June 2019.
