HYANNIS – Scouts across the Cape are celebrating their 100th anniversary on July 19.
The Cape Cod and Islands Council, founded in 1915, will be celebrating with a special open house at Camp Greenough in Yarmouthport from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The open house will also include an ArrowTour, which is an interactive exhibit of the Order of the Arrow that is traveling each region of the country, stopping at scout camps to share the history and traditions of the past 100 years.
There will be a number of activities at the open house including shooting sports, a zip line, silk screening and demonstrations of traditional outdoor skills.
