HYANNIS – The Cape Cod Baseball League is seeking host families for this year’s crop of players, the season begins in June and runs until early August.
Officials with the league say an integral part of the experience for players is becoming immersed in the local area. Hundreds of Major League players have played in the Cape League, including Jackie Bradley Jr., Chris Sale, Kris Bryant, Aaron Judge and George Springer.
All lived with host families during their time in the league.
Requirements for host families vary for each team but in most cases the league request that players have access to a bedroom, a washer and dryer and daily meals.
