Chatham Chorale and Friends to Perform Holiday Concert

CHATHAM – A fan-favorite holiday concert returns to Chatham next weekend.

“A Candlelight Christmas” with the Chatham Chorale and Friends will be performed at the First United Methodist Church on Main Street in Chatham on Saturday, December 15 at 3 p.m. and Sunday, December 16 at 2 and 5 p.m.

The concert will include the classic David Willcocks arrangements of “Hark, the Herald Angels Sing” and “O Little Town of Bethlehem.”

Handel’s Messiah is represented with the thrilling chorus “For Unto Us A Child Is Born,” and Music Director Joseph Marchio will lead a singalong of Franz Gruber’s “Silent Night.”

The performance will also include the women of Quartett Giocosa.

Tickets for the event are $25 for open seating and $30 for reserved seating. They can be purchased at www.chathamchorale.org, by phone or at the door on the day of the concert.

Students and individuals under 18 will be admitted free with the purchase of a ticket.
