CHATHAM – Chatham’s Department of natural Resources has released another sewer construction update. The contractor plans to cut back to one crew, weather permitting.
For the next two weeks, work will continue on Earl’s Way and Jane’s Way. The crew will be doing further work on the installation of a gravity sewer. The week of April 9th, they will move over to Shattuck Lane where more work will be done on the sewer instalment.
Activities include raising castings, invert installation, testing and general cleanup.
Normal work hours are from 7 AM to 5 PM. In special circumstances, an extension to 7 may be made. Schedules are always subject to change due to weather conditions.
All roads will be open nights, weekends and holidays.
Motorists needing assistance reaching their destination can rely on signage and police details.
