Cotuit Center for the Arts to host Month-Long Art Exhibitions

Cotuit Center For The Arts

COTUIT – The Cotuit Center for the Arts is hosting its second international juried photography exhibition from October through November.

A multimedia exhibit by Rosemary LeBeau, “Seven Deadly Sins” and “Lucky Eye” challenges participating photographers to interpret each theme. Seven prizes will be awarded during the exhibition totaling over $3,000. All submitted work will be displayed in the Center’s digital gallery. The 30 winners will be hung in the physical gallery.

The 30 selected works will also be featured in a printed exhibition catalog, along with a statement from each photographer, to be produced by Cape Cod writers, illustrators, and publishers James and Jean Anton.

The Center has also announced that renowned photographer Amy Abrus has been selected as the juror of the exhibition. Abrus will be displaying some of her own work during the event as well.

Opening night is scheduled for October 13 at 5:00 p.m. at the Cotuit Center for the Arts, located at 4404 Route 28 in Cotuit. The event runs through November 10.
