HYANNIS – A Barnstable District Court hearing for Housing Assistance Corporation CEO Frederic Presbrey has been postponed.
A court official said the hearing has been moved to July 20.
Presbrey is accused of making a threat about a housing client. He received a summons to appear in court this morning on a misdemeanor charge of threatening to commit murder. He allegedly made the comment to a staffer at his agency, who then reported the comment to police.
Presbrey denies the charges.
Presbrey is temporarily on leave from the agency he founded 40 years ago while the charge is being investigated.
