WELLFLEET – A cyanobacteria advisory has been posted for Duck Pond in Wellfleet by town officials.
The Association to Preserve Cape Cod, which reported the algae bloom, said visitors should avoid contact with the water.
Dogs and children are especially vulnerable to the algae’s toxins through accidental ingestion.
