DHY Partnership Meeting Being Held Tonight in Harwich

HARWICH – Residents in Dennis, Yarmouth and Harwich are encouraged to attend a meeting this evening to discuss the DHY Clean Waters Community Partnership.

The towns have formed the partnership to share facilities with the goal of reducing nitrogen in the Cape’s watersheds.

All three towns voted to file Special Legislation to form the DHY Partnership during Spring 2018 Town Meetings.

Each Town has developed a Comprehensive Wastewater Management Plan (CWMP) to evaluate options for removing excessive nitrogen from salt water estuaries and rivers.

Discussions at the meeting include an overview of the partnership and goals, special legislation update and an open questions and comments period.

The meeting will be held at 6pm at the Harwich Community Center.
