Discussion to Focus on Managing Land Use in Brewster

BREWSTER – A discussion will be held Wednesday evening in Brewster on how the town should guide future land development to maintain a well-balanced community.

A panel of experts will explore managing land use by handling land conservation while adding to the tax base with development, along with increasing affordable housing.

The panel includes Mark Robinson, the director of The Compact of Cape Cod Conservation Trusts; Paul Anderson, the superintendent of the Brewster Water Department; Ryan Bennett, Brewster’s town planner; and Kyle Hinkle, the executive director of the Brewster Chamber of Commerce.

The event is sponsored by the Brewster Community Network and will be held at the Brewster Ladies’ Library from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
