Foundation Announces Holiday Meals Challenge For Those Who Serve

BUZZARDS BAY – The Cape Cod Military Foundation Inc. has announced its “Step Up to the Table” Holiday Meals Challenge. 

The foundation is a non-profit that supports Active Duty Military, National Guard and coast Guard families. 

Each year they provide holiday meals to those who serve.  To serve the number of meals needed, they need to raise $12,500. 

Local organizations and individuals have donated $2500 to support the program. 

“The holidays are a special time for families.  We want to ensure that our military and coast guard families have the opportunity to share in the bounty that so many of us enjoy,” said Foundation President Don Cox.

He has challenged businesses, civic groups, private foundations and individuals to match donations already received.
