Habitat for Humanity homes to be dedicated Thursday, August 10.
CHATHAM – A dedication ceremony will be held Thursday afternoon for four new homes built in Chatham by Habitat for Humanity Cape Cod.
The ceremony will be held at the sub-division on Main Street behind the Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen’s Alliance at 5 p.m.
“It’s an opportunity for the new homeowners to be able to say a few words to everyone who helped them out to bless the homes together and just celebrate the hard work of all the volunteers and contributors,” said Vikki Goldsmith, the executive director of Habitat for Humanity Cape Cod.
The dedication ceremony also provides the public a rare opportunity to tour the completed homes.
