BOSTON – Two local towns and a regional school district have been awarded grant funding from the state to advance clean energy initiatives.
The Department of Energy Resources’ Municipal Energy Technical Assistance Grant program has provided $12,500 grants to Oak Bluffs, Nantucket and the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District.
The funding will assist with projects or studies to support clean energy development.
More than 40 communities in the Commonwealth were awarded just over a half million dollars.
