SANDWICH – A message in a bottle launched from Cape Cod over two decades ago has been found in France.
The message was written in 1997 by then-Forestdale 5th grader Benjamin Lyons for an assignment studying ocean currents.
Last week, the school received a reply to the letter from Hubert Eriau, a 71-year-old fisherman who found the message on the shores he frequents.
