Massachusetts Gas Prices Down 3 More Cents

HYANNIS – Gas prices in Massachusetts are 12 cents lower than they were to start 2019 after they fell another three cents over the past week.

AAA Northeast reports the average price of a gallon of self-serve, regular unleaded is $2.41.

That price is 17 cents higher than the national average and ten cents lower than the same time last year.

“If demand remains seasonally low amid continued growth in gasoline stocks across the country, Americans may see pump prices remain low for the remainder of the winter – assuming there are no unforeseen spikes in oil prices,” said Mary Maguire, Director of Public and Legislative Affairs for AAA Northeast.

Prices on Cape Cod are between $2.30 and $2.69, according to GasBuddy.com.
