ORLEANS – The Movies Under the Stars series in Orleans returns Sunday for its 2019 season.
The films, sponsored by the Orleans Cultural Council, are screened on Sunday nights in July and August at the Orleans Village Green next to Snow Library.
The screenings begin at 7:30 p.m.
The series kicks off tomorrow night with “Happy Feet.” The film dives into the world of emporor penguins, who find their soul mates through song. A penguin is born who cannot sing, but can tap dance.
Next week’s film, on July 14, is “Over the Hedge.” A scheeming raccoon fools a mismatched family of forest creatures into helping him repay a debt of food, by invading the new suburban sprawl tha popped up while they were hibernating.
