BB_Nantucket_MainStreet_Summer2015NANTUCKET – Those with minor medical conditions like rashes, scrapes, back pain, earaches, muscle pain and sore throats while visiting Nantucket this summer will have a way to avoid the emergency room.

Nantucket Cottage Hospital opened a walk-in care service for those with non-life-threatening conditions yesterday.

No appointments are necessary, however patients must have a Mass General Medical Record Number. Those that do not have one may call (866) 211-6588.

The service will be open until September 5th seven days a week, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to noon.
