NHA Hosting David Lazarus Exhibit

NANTUCKET–The Nantucket Historical Association (NHA) is featuring an exhibit of works done by David Lazarus at the Whaling Museum’s Sherlund Conference Room this holiday season.

Lazarus, who emigrated from England, has worked at the NHA’s 1800 House, teaching classes on 19th century American crafts. He studied at the Bath Academy of Art.

The NHA is planning on expanding this exhibit into 2020. Paintings and prints from Lazarus are available for purchase at the museum’s shop.

On December 8, a reception will be held at 2 p.m. Attendees will be able to meet Lazarus.

The exhibit is open beginning today, and is open to the public daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
