BOSTON (AP) — Gov. Charlie Baker’s administration plans to hold an open house of sorts as it outlines a plan for utilizing some of Massachusetts’ real estate holdings.
Baker is scheduled to speak Monday at a Commonwealth Open for Business Event at the state transportation building in Boston. More than 300 potential developers are expected to attend.
The governor’s office said in a statement the event will discuss leveraging state real estate through public-private partnerships.
Baker is expected to announce a “more entrepreneurial” way of managing state land and assets to accomplish goals that include affordable housing, renewable energy and economic development.
Representatives of several state agencies are scheduled to participate in the event.
