SANDWICH – An open house later this month will give Sandwich residents an opportunity to tour the former Santander Bank building on Route 6A at Tupper Road.
A town meeting warrant article will ask voters to authorize the purchase of the building to consolidate town offices.
Town offices are currently located at town hall, the Town Hall Annex on Main Street, and town offices on Jan Sebastian Drive.
The town meeting article would also authorize the sale of the Town Hall Annex and Jan Sebastian Drive building.
The open house is Saturday, April 27 from 9 a.m. to noon.
A citizens’ petition will also be on the town meeting warrant to purchase the bank to be used as a senior center.
Town officials encourage residents interested in the proposal to attend.
