Orleans Voting on Wastewater, School Upgrades

ORLEANS – Orleans residents will take up two capital projects at a special town election Tuesday.

Last week, voters at town meeting approved spending $3.68 million to install sewer pipe under Main Street from Route 28 to Old Colony Way. The wastewater project needs final approval at the ballot box.

Residents will also vote on money for a new HVAC system at the Orleans Elementary School.

Polls are open from 12-8 p.m. at the Orleans Senior Center to coincide with the Cape Tech school building vote.
