OSTERVILLE – A local apparel designer will be giving back to an environmental organization during an afternoon next month.
Sara Campbell Designs, in Osterville, will host “Shop For A Cause” to benefit the Barnstable Clean Water Coalition on Friday, November 9 from 3 to 6 p.m.
During the event, 15 percent of all sales’ proceeds will benefit the Coalition.
The Coalition’s mission is to protect and restore freshwater bodies of water, including rivers, streams and ponds, marine embayments, and groundwater used for drinking within Barnstable.
The organization works through educating, monitoring, mitigating and advocating.
Campbell says she believes in people helping other people and has a corporate philosophy grounded in philanthropy. She often hosts give back events that support local and national organizations.
The entire collection of the Boston-based retailer is manufactured in the U.S.
