OSTERVILLE – The Osterville Village Library will host several events and kick off multiple educational series in April.
Back by popular demand, the library will host the “Happy and Healthy Aging” series beginning April 8 at 11 a.m.
The first program is on the impacts of stress and how it can best be managed. A new program will be held each month through August.
A pollination ecology presentation will be made by Barnstable County Entomologist Larry Dapsis on April 10 at 1 p.m.
Dapsis will discuss how honeybees are suffering catastrophic loses, along with the status of other important pollinators, and what we can do to help.
A “Stop the Bleed Save A Life” safety training program will be held April 16 at 5 p.m.
The library will also host a Book Art Workshop during school vacation week on April 17 at 10 a.m.
Children will be able to make a dog or cat out of a recycled book with a series of simple folds.
And the National Parks Travel Series kicks off on April 18 at 5 p.m. with the “Waterfalls of Iceland.” The series will also feature programs in May and June.
