Pilgrim’s Landing Hosts Thanksgiving Labyrinth Walk

Pilgrim's LandingCHATHAM – Pilgrim’s Landing invites the public to come together for a Thanksgiving Labyrinth Walk at the Chatham Labyrinth on Sunday November 13 at 2pm.

“Coming together” seems especially important following the heated and divisive election process.

The community can join together in an expression of gratitude for all that is good in themselves, their neighbors and their country.

Those who are attending are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to be placed on the path.

These items will be delivered to the local food bank as a sign of solidarity with all in the community and beyond who are hungry in body and soul.

The event is free and open to the public, and all are welcome.

In the event of inclement weather the walk will be cancelled.

The Labyrinth is located in Chase Park behind the Grist Mill, off of Shattuck Place.

The labyrinth is an ancient circular pattern, perhaps derived from nature, with a single winding path that provides a meditative walk to the center and back out again.

It’s been said that ‘The labyrinth is a spiritual tool meant to awaken us to the deep rhythm that unites us to ourselves and to that which calls from within.

Pilgrim’s Landing is a not-for-profit Interspiritual Educational Center whose mission is to inspire support and accompany all who are on a journey toward a more peaceful, compassionate and just world.
