Public Comment Period Open for Flounder, Black Sea Bass, Scup Fisheries

HYANNIS – The public comment period is open on National Marine Fisheries Service proposals for the summer flounder and black sea bass fisheries in 2019.

Regulators are also proposing to maintain previously established specifications for the 2019 scup fishery.

Proposals include an adjustment to the current incidental possession limit for scup and reopening the black sea bass recreational fishery in February.

Public comments will be accepted through November 30.
