Road Paving Projects to Start Next Wednesday in Sandwich

SANDWICH – Paving projects will be conducted next week in Sandwich.

Top course paving is scheduled to begin Wednesday, September 4th on Chestnut Lane and Crowell Road.

The Crowell Road work is expected to extend to Thursday, the 5th.

Buckingham Drive will also be paved Thursday and may extend to Friday, if needed.

Work is weather dependent and crews will work from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

Roads will be closed during work hours and full access will be restored at the end of each day.

Residents are being notified of the work schedule and have been asked to park on side streets to avoid access issues to area homes.

The Department of Public Works will provide updates to the paving schedule.

PJ Keating will be the general contractor on the projects.
